Richard D. Furash

Richard holds an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School of Finance and Commerce and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts.  Richard served as principal for Deloitte, the international accounting and consulting firm for twenty-seven years. He was Assistant Treasurer of a large grocery company.  He served on the Board of Acres Gaming, Inc. as a member of the audit and compensation committees.

Richard's traning and education background is extensive. He is currently an on-ground and Flexnet instructor for the University of Phoenix-Southern Arizona Campus. He has created and instructed courses for the University of Arizona, run seminars for Management Ventures Inc., Deloitte, and for major companies. Richard has created seminars, authored many articles, and has spoken with large audiences. He has logged thousands of hours in the classroom, on line and in front of executives in teaching situations.

Richard's technology background is also significant. He is an innovator in applying technology, such as blogging and podcasting to the learning environment. He develops and manages websites focused on educating the visitor.

In brief, Richard is an innovative adult learning professional with extensive technology background.
